Teflon Encapsulated O-Rings

UniverSeal manufactures *Teflon™ Encapsulated O-Ring Seals with Silicone or Viton cores.  These O-Rings provide the chemical resistance of Teflon™ with the sealing resilience of Silicone or Viton elastomers.

Seals are made with a consistent, substantial outer wall (FEP Teflon 10-30 mil).   Highest grade materials and tightest tolerances are standard at UniverSeal.

Standard,  Metric and Custom sizes are available in over 30 cross sections.   We offer help in design and provide trial samples.

 
Features 

  • FEP/Silicone:

    Service Temperature Range:  -62C(-80F) to 260C (500F)
    Retains flexibility at lower temperature range. 
    Useful where lighter compression is required.
    Overall Durometer 80+-5

  • FEP/Viton:

    Service Temperature Range:  -23C(-10F) to 205C (400F)
    More durable at higher temperature limits. 
    Useful at high pressure, high compression.
    Overall Durometer 85+-5
